CORNERSTONE CHURCH HAS FOCUSED A LOT OF ATTENTION UPON THE CENTRAL AMERICAN COUNTRIES OF HONDURAS AND EL SALVADOR

OVER THE PAST DECADE.  HERE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE PEOPLE AND PROJECTS THAT WE HAVE SUPPORTED:

                                                            NEW CHURCH BEING PLANTED

Luis Sorto of Honduras is a long time friend of Dr Thomason and Cornerstone Church. He is well known throughout the Spanish Speaking world as a Pastor-Evangelist. Recently, he made a commitment to focus on his home country of Honduras. He is building two ministry centers in the heart of Honduras to reach children and young people, to train them with technical skills, and to minister to the needs of their families who are very poor.  The above right picture is of his Saturday afternoon children's outreach in Zambrano, a mountain village half way between Tegucigalpa and Comayagua, leading cities in Honduras.  For more about the ministry of Luis Sorto click here:  LOVE WITHOUT BOUNDARIES

    
Jim, Linda, and Ana Tjelmeland are founders and directors of Workers Together With God Ministries in Honduras.  They work with local churches to teach and train members for greater impact on the work of God in Honduras.  They also have established schools and hospital clinics and libraries in the country.

David and Martha Hammonds

David and Martha Hammonds are directors of Living Water Teaching in El Salvador where they Pastor a church, oversee Bible Schools throughout the country, and conduct outreach ministries in schools, prisons, and villages throughout El Salvador.

JIM & GLENDA FABER MINISTRY IN HONDURAS    Establishing new churches, building soccer fields and conducting soccer work shops in poor neighborhoods to evangelize gang members.  Primarily in the Comayagua area.

Cornerstone Church has helped to raise the funds necessary to move a water purification and production plant from the back of a barrio church in Comayagua to a newly purchased location in the city.  This will enable the production of drinking water and pure ice to grow to meet an ever expanding customer base. Not only are the local residents getting safe water to drink, but the sale of ice to convenience stores and restaurants is almost pure profit which helps pay the salaries of several individuals who have been rescued from the street gangs.  It also funds the local church's outreach programs to the city.
